Growing up in Vancouver, Jason’s family didn’t have a lot of money to spend on extra activities. Free skating at the local arena was a big part of his childhood during the winter months (mostly to keep him out of trouble)!
Jason’s wife Janet also remembers free skating on Sundays with her older sisters and her best friend’s family at the local arena in her home town of Montreal.
When Fix It Right was presented with the opportunity to support public skating at the Glenn Hall arena this season, we couldn’t say YES fast enough! We’re honoured to be able to help create a space for families to come and make lasting memories. Our daughter Riley also loves to skate and now she will get to make her own memories with friends during public skating right here in Stony Plain.
We hope everyone can get out on the rink and make lasting memories with family and friends this season!
